Ashley LaFaver, MS, LPC

Ashley has been in the mental health field since 2009 with experience in various settings. She started her career working with people on probation while also offering therapeutic grief support to those with a death in their family. During her graduate studies, Ashley was the Academic Counselor to student-athletes assisting with their academic studies as well as the many stressors that come with being a college student. Ashley has worked at the middle school level with at-risk students where she implemented a restorative justice approach to understand what happened and discussed different approaches in the future. Ashley has also worked with federal inmates where she offered Mental Health and Substance Abuse counseling in an individual and group setting. In addition, she was the group facilitator at a Juvenile Justice Center of a 5-week group with teenagers that focused on self-esteem, coping skills, and communication. Finally, before opening private practice, Ashley worked as an Intensive Outpatient Program therapist at a local psychiatric hospital providing mental health and dual diagnosis groups to young adults.

Ashley graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminology from Missouri State University and received her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Arkansas.
